The Cooters "The Moon Will Rise Again"
compact disc released 10.04.2002

Four years in the making, “The Moon Will Rise Again” is the newest release by the Cooters. Recorded at Memphis’s famed Ardent Studios by producer Rick Clark, the album also features Memphis legend Jim Spake on baritone sax (Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis), and special guest, Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise).

This album blurs the line between metal and punk, spiced up with garage, rockabilly, swing, prank phone calls, and a healthy dose of that sticky green stuff. Released in collaboration with Grammy nominated independent label T-Bones Records, the Cooters have worked hard to bring this album to you. Produced and paid for by the band, this album is a DIY release, produced the old fashioned way: by gigs, day jobs, garage sales, blood, sweat, tears, and even a stint in the Mississippi penitentiary.
