The Cooters are pleased to announce the release of our brother Judas Cooter from the Mississippi State Penitentiary near Parchman, Mississippi. Judas was sentenced to six months in the state's experimental "RID" boot camp in January, 1999 following a three year long trial for possession of an ounce of pot. Following his June 29th release, Judas is in good spirits and adjusting to life back in the freeworld.
The Cooters have been rocking out hard and heavy every day since Judas's release at our new studio in Oxford. In addition we are very close to completing the first edition of our brand spankin new compact disc. The band has been working on the artwork as of late and this cd could possibly be released by August.
Supreme Cooter rejoices:
"The four corners of the globe are reunited. North, south, east, and westerly winds are blowing simultaneously. They are howling, "Long live The Cooters! Viva The Cooters!"

Judas Cooter was wide-eyed and happy:
"I can't believe the shit that I've gone through! I'm just glad its finally over! Let's rock!"

Neuter Cooter was estatic,
"It is so great to be reunited with Judas and playing live music! I can't wait to get out and tour again!"

Kin Cooter foams:
"Hot Damn! Now I can rock out with my cock out!"

Raw Cooter smarts off:
"Now that Judas has given up the 'pipe,' he can rock himself to death!"
