Results of the Cooters first ever web poll are in!
December 11, 2001
The results of the first ever TheCooters.com webpoll have been released. The question was "Which song would you like to hear covered by The Cooters?" The winner is "Whole Lotta Rosie" the classic AC/DC song from the 70's. "Rosie," which recieved 36% of the votes, edged out the Dead Kennedys "Let's Lynch the Landlord," which recieved 32%. Other songs receiving votes included David Bowie's "Suffrogette City" (12.%), the Misfits "Devilock" (11%), and Iron Maiden's "Wrathchild" (9%).
As many of you already know, the Cooters performed all of these songs at various shows during fall of 2001. In response to the result of our online poll, the Cooters will be recording AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie" during the upcoming sessions at the Lip Studio with Tom Queyja.
Thanks to everyone who participated!
