The Cooters "The Moon Will Rise Again" CD
official release is out now!
October 4, 2002

Four years in the making, “The Moon Will Rise Again” is the newest release by the Cooters. Recorded at Memphis’s famed Ardent Studios by producer Rick Clark (Alex Chilton, Big Star), the album also features Memphis legend Jim Spake on baritone sax (Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis), and special guest, Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise). This album blurs the line between metal and punk, spiced up with garage, rockabilly, swing, prank phone calls, and a healthy dose of that sticky green stuff. Released in collaboration with Grammy nominated independent label T-Bones Records, the Cooters have worked hard to bring this album to you. Produced and paid for by the band, this album is a DIY release, produced the old fashioned way: by gigs, day jobs, garage sales, blood, sweat, tears, and even a stint in the Mississippi penitentiary.

The Supreme Cooter says, "The four corners of the globe are reunited. North, south, east, and westerly winds are blowing simultaneously. They are howling, "Long live The Cooters! Viva The Cooters!"
