This TV show features an interview with Mikey Namorato aka “Judas Cooter” plus the video for The Cooters “Carpetbaggers.” Also featured on this episode are interviews and videos by many other Oxford artists, including Tyler Keith & The Apostles, Jimbo Mathus, Shannon McNally, Stork & NickB., Charlie Mars, Junk Culture, Kill the Ego, Tate Moore, Blue Mountain, Bill Perry, The Preacher’s Kids, Avenue Hearts, Sleeping Bulls, Good Paper, Rocket 88, and more. There are also two documentaries by Tobie Baker, highlighting blues in Clarksdale, Mississippi and the dedication of the “Blues Trail” marker in Como, Mississippi for drum and fife legend Othar Turner also has a comedy short by Deepak & Nitin Mantena.

The Cooters have also appeared on the Mississippi Public Broadcasting television show “Oxford Sounds” (episode eight) with George McConnell. The PBS TV show premiered on public broadcasting in March of 2014. It is currently not available for viewing online.
